Cover It

 Models Own - Blizzard
Models Own - Grape Juice
Models Own Artistix Cover It - N/A
3for2 @ Boots
These are the latest additions to my Models Own collection, I didnt buy into the artistix when they came out as I have soooo many of their plain colours, glitters and fancy topcoats anyway it didnt seem like something that was worth my while. I was in Boots and spyed the offer on Models Own and also caught eye of this Cover It Duo which is Snow White at one end and Ibiza Mix at the other! So I decided I'd get one while they were on offer! In my opinion this is the nicest out of all the Cover It duos..the other colours are a bit mehhh to me?!?? This duo I think looks really fresh and the colour of the glitter reminds me of something vintage! I'll never say a bad word about Models Own (I dont think) but I wouldnt go out of my way to buy a Cover It Duo again.. as its just their normal line put to together in a duo..You can get this effect with any base colour and glitter..although this colour combo does look pretty laavly! The other Models Own polishes I got were Grape Juice and Blizzard from the Wonderland collection...which actually look really nice together too! Have you tried any of the Cover It Duos?? Which is your favourite?

Summery Accessories

Cream Floral Crown - £3 Primark
Neon Pink Purse - £10 RiverIsland
Mega Spike Hoops - £3.50 Topshop
Round Sunglasses - £1 Primark
Ive been picking up a few summery items to try and brighten up my life as the sun came..and now has gone again haha! I really love bright colours but I find myself wearing alot of black these days..So accessories will always be the tool I use to lift my outfits!! I love floral crowns and as you know from a previous post I like to make my own (HERE) - but sometimes theres no time and when  spying this cutie for £3..I thought why bother! Whilst browsing Primark accessories I saw these sunnies too so grabbed a pair, I love the way round sunglasses  look so cute with a top knot and statement lips and for £1 they're beyond a bargain. Id never usually buy anything that had a brand logo allover it, but the colour and simplicity of this purse I loved - So I thought I'd use this through the summer in change to my matte black leopard Topshop one. Another pair of hoops, another piece of Topshop jewellery, Im sooo into my hoops right now and these are really edgy and they're spikey so theres nothing I don't love about them. Another Topshop sale win. What have you been buying in preparation for summer?

Altered Beige

Temperature Rising Colour in Altered Beige
Say Aloha to my new best friend. I went to the MAC counter on Friday before work as I wanted to repurchase Creme D'Nude..But whilst browsing I came across this in their Temperature Rising Colour Limited Edition range. As soon as I saw it I knew it was made for me! This is a Lustre Lipstick which means its a little more glossy and nourishing.. To be completely honestly it is very similar to Creme D'Nude, Japanese Maple and Gel which are personal favourites of mine although unlike Gel it has no shimmer but it does have a nice shine on the lip. People always, always, always ask me which lipstick Im wearing and I do have quite a few likely suspects. I'll always recommend MAC lipsticks to people because quality and colour wise I personally think they're the best. If you're looking to get yourself a good nude lipstick I'd say maybe see if you can pick this one up! Yess I've only had it 3 days but when it comes to nude lipsticks and MAC lipsticks.... I just KNOW!! What is your favourite nude lipstick?  Have you tried anything from the Temperature Rising Colour range?

The Sweetest Treat

 Mega Chocolate Chip Cookies
4oz Butter Softened
2oz Caster Sugar
1 Egg Yolk
4oz Plain Flour
2oz Cocoa Powder
A pinch of salt
2oz Milk Chocolate
2oz White Chocolate
1. Beat together the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl until completely combined, then add the egg yolk.
2. Sift in the flour, Cocoa powder and pinch of salt and mix through thoroughly until the dough is firm but sticky, when all combined add in all of your milk chocolate chunks and half of your white chocolate chunks.
3. Line a large baking tray with baking parchment. Make 6 medium balls with your cookie dough, space them on your tray and press down on them lightly to flatten.Add your remaining white chocolate chunks to the top.
4. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for around 12 minutes. When cooked the cookies should still be soft to touch, take out of oven and leave to cool. ENJOY!!

I love baking little treats to give to people and you'd be hard pushed to find someone who doesn't like chocolate chip cookies! These are very yummy and perfect for giving or keeping! Easy to make and super quick! Ive never shared a recipe on here before but these are just so easy and so cute to box up and give to people so I thought why not?  For anyone who wants to know the box is from a set of 3 from IKEA. I picked up a couple of sets on sale for 99p when I was shhhmoozing there the other week! Will you be baking these cookies??

Boom, Bang, Pow, Woosh

 Comic Tee - £6 Primark
Ring & Midi Ring - £2 Each Riverisland
XL Chain - £1.50 Topshop
Heart Creole Earrings - £3 (ish) ReBorn @ Newlook
Large Chunky Chain - £5 Primark
Oversized Hudson Tee - £6 Primark
I love a bargain and even though I always say im going to stop buying things.. its clearly always a lie. I love these bits I've picked up recently and they're definitely very me! Cant believe I picked up the Topshop chain for £1.50 when it was £20 to start with! Its only made of plastic though, and I really got it so that could wear it to the fancy dress do in June ( Im thinking Minaj or someone crazy like that?) The Primark chain is very like a few others I already own but a bigger and I was surprised its actually made of metal which makes it even better for a fiver! In my life I can never have enough gold chains! Im also so into gold hoops at the minute, these ones are particularly tacky but I love them, plus I think I style them well enough to take the edge off haha! The Hudson tee is a maroon version of the blue Michigan one I have, which I have actually been living in since I got it. Its so nice for rolling around the house in but its cool enough to wear out too! Have you been buying anything similar recently?

3 Spring Sorbets

You're A Peach, Lush Lilac, Banana Split

Nails Inc - You're a Peach FREE -  I picked up InStyle magazine on Friday and this was free inside...Now I know its only Wednesday but I havent had it off my nails yet and Im about to reapply! This colour is just yumminess alloverrrrr, I might have to buy another copy before the end of the month its that good! Its a creamy pastelly peach, 2 coats gives perfect coverage and the colour is everything I love in peach nail polish! You neeeeeed to go and get yourself a copy of inStyle now!!

MUA - Lush Lilac £1 Superdrug - The only way I can describe this, is like pink marshmallows, a super sugary pinky and lilac hued nail polish! This goes on really nicely which surprised me and looks lovely with glitter over the top ( I used Barry M Rose Quartz) I bought this just over 2 weeks ago and yesterday I actually went and bought another one for when I run out! Its such a gorgeous colour and for the price its amazing! P.s ...Note the bottle wannabe??

Models Own - Banana Split £5* - Banana split its a creamy pale yellow which is basically identical to Models Own Lemon Meringue which I've loved for a couple of years now! Goes on nice and easy and only needs 2 coats to achieve a good colour! I dont personally enjoy the smell that much..makes me feels a bit icky but it doesnt last forever and I always topcoat anyway so it sort of dulls the smell! If you like your yellows I'd definitely recommend this!

What are your favourite spring pastel nail polishes?

Simple Strawberrys

 1. Apply your chosen base colour, I used Models Own scented Blueberry Muffin.
2. Using red nail polish paint on your strawberry shapes randomly over the nail.
3. Add detail to your strawberrys using green and white nail art pens.
So so so so simple!! Don't anyone tell me they cant do this one because you're lyingggg! The sun is shining.. I'm about to go to work but that aside its a nice day for some summery nails! Strawberrys are my favourite thing right now so these are very appropriate! Email me pics or links if you try this out! Happy worst day of the week!!
