Easy Gingham

1. Apply 2 coats of white nail polish
2.Using a light lilac nail polish draw on your horizontal & vertical lines to create the check
3. Using a slightly darker shade of lilac carefully darken the squares where the check lines cross over, Let dry & top coat

Easy peasy gingham nails! Colour is of course your own choice I chose lilac but I also really like pink and orange for this!! Its quick easy and the results are really cool and with gingham alot of the time the checks are made to look a bit free hand so getting extra straight parallel lines isn't really necessary!! all kinds of checks are in this season from gingham to tartan and hounds tooth so this definitely fits in with the trends! Will you be trying this out? Also this is actually my 200th post, check me out hehehe :) Thankyou to all my loyal and lovely followers and readers!!

MARDI MOO

MARDI Snaffle Loafers - £24
Tartan Socks & Head Scarf - £1.50 Each Primark
G4LIFE Camo Beanie - £15 Rihanna for RiverIsland
Chiffon B Baseball Shirt - £6.24 (With Discounts) H&M

Just a little teeny weeny haul this time, and as September draws to an end I've made a vow to stop buying for me and start buying christmas presents...yep I said it! Christmas shopping already! Its my Mummas Birthday on Friday and I have all her presents ready to treat her and make her day special! Then when payday comes I'm ready to start squirelling away for Christmas :)
How super amazing are the Mardi slippers? I fell in LOVE with them instantly, they're like me but in slipper form hehehe!! The socks look so damn cute with my Madam cut out boots , perfect for the tartan/check trends this season! I mentioned on my previous post about the rihanna collection I really liked alot of it this time round but I restricted myself to the beanie, which I
love and I know I'll get alot of wear out of it as I'm known as the Beanie Queen during the Autumn/Winter months - I think I might buy myself a Lazy Oaf one too as I have a £20 voucher to spend on Asos but Im trying to be wise about it haha!! I might need to stock up as Ive heard some rumours about snow in October...In my opinion that would be the best thing EVER!!! Have you bought anything similar recently?

Worn together with large gold accessories, killer heels and a cute bag..perfect!! Is there anything similar on your wishlist?

Proper Sparkler

Models Own Fireworks Collection in 'Sparkler'
Models Own in Snow White
Buy One Get One Half Price @ Boots
Left; Sparkler Over Snow White. Right; Sparkler Over Black Magic

When I first saw the campaign for the newest Models Own collection, I was instantly drawn to sparkler. After purchasing nearly 2 weeks ago now, I can honestly say its probably one of the the best glitter nail polishes I've ever owned - and theres been a few!! I wanted to show you it over white and black as its so versatile. Over white the holographic pieces aren't as apparent but they're still noticeable and give off a little sparkle. My favourite way to wear this is over Black, at work everyone complimented me on my nails and asked if I was wearing Minx or any other brand of nail wrap! It goes on quickly and easily and looks soooo good! I find sometimes with Models Own 'new' collections sometimes they're just already existing products re-merchandised, but I've never come across this particular style of glitter in their collections and I own most of the nail polishes they sell! Id definitely recommend this if you're looking for something sparkly for fireworks/party season or to just get your holographic fix!! Have you tried any nail polishes from the fireworks collection? Can you recommend any amazingly perfect white nail polishes?

Don't forget you have until tonight to enter my GiVEAWAY , I will draw and post the winner on Monday as I'm away for the weekend and wont be by my laptop! Also check out MY EBAY for stiletto nails ending on Sunday!!

Have a great weekend!!

Excuse me MADAM

MADAM Cutout Boots - £38
Stags Head Necklace - £3.50 Sale
Gold Alphabet Letters (Missing Chain) £1.50 Sale
Gold Triangle Hoops - £5.50
Fimo Flower Collar Necklace - £5.50 Sale
Fimo Flower Hair Elastic - £2.50 Sale
Skeleton Cameo Earrings - £3.50 Sale

This is a collective haul of things I have bought from topshop recently from Lakeside and when I visited a friend in Norwich last week!! Everyone knows I'm crazy about Topshop jewellery and shoes, I'd been in love with these boots for ages but had'nt bought them as the weather was a bit too hot! But now finally some rubbish weather to ease us into autumn... and some new boots to go with :) The alphabet letters were supposed to have a necklace with them to make your own name chain, but there was no chain..although I know the chain was tiny anyway so I'm thinking I'll make myself a cute name or word bracelet..also fully recyclable so I can change it with my mood!! The skeleton cameo earrings are probably one of my favoirite buys of this year, they're soo effing cool, they remind me of something from a Tim Burton Movie!! Have you been buying anything similar recently? Check out MY EBAY if you're after some funky handpainted stilletto nails and dont forget to enter my giveaway which closes on Saturday!!

Floral Fancies

Jersey Slouch Top - £7.99 H&M
MADAM Cut Out Lace Up Boots - £38 Topshop
Superquilted Blue Chain Shoulder Bag - £150 Love Moschino
Multi Row Chunky Chain - £28 Topshop
Barry M Blueberry I/C - £2.99 Superdrug
High Waisted Belted Floral Trousers - £35 Riverisland

This outfit is based around these beautiful high waisted trousers. I spotted these online at River Island a few weeks ago and I keep going back and looking at them. I'm pretty sure I'm gunna haveeee to buy them as they're just soooo nice & I've already bought the MADAM boots tehehe!! I can just imagine wearing them with the ankles rolled a little, a simple top and cut out boots or creepers. They're so 90's which is perfect for the trends that are around at the moment. Ive wanted a Love Moschino bag for a few years now, this is from the newest collection available at House Of Fraser. I think it would look great with an outfit like this as colours can be a little dull as we roll into A/W but accessories are the perfect way to keep outfits bright and lively. How would you style floral trousers for the change of season?

90's Smileys

 1. Apply 2 coats of white nail polish
2. Using a yellow nail art pen apply large yellow spots randomly over the nail
3. Use a black nail art pen to outline your smiley faces and add the details. Let dry & topcoat.

heyaaa, back with another nail art tutorial!! I am in love with this, it was inspired by a kimono I saw on The Style Playlist. This is relatively straight forward, The most annoying part of this is the white base I guess - as I always find white takes quite a while to be completely dry and can apply quite streaky. I'm really happy with the end result though!! Hope you're all enjoying the last bank holiday weekend of 2013 :)  What do you think ? Will you be trying this out?

Lions, Cheetahs & Eagles

Lion Necklace - £4.99 Ebay
 Dog T-shirt Dress - £10 RiverIsland
Cheetah Print Shirt - £17 M&S
Neon Spike Drop Necklace - £3 NewLook
Gold Love Hoops - £4.99 NewLook
Arizona Eagles Sweater - £40 Riverisland

Here is my latest haul, Bought a jumper hehehe I'm getting myself prepared for the cold months, the Riverisland jumper you will know from my august wishlist, I really really wanted. I actually picked it up later that day whilst I was at Lakeside. I absolutely love it! The t-shirt & shirt my mumma got me whilst she shopping the sales, the shirt is so similar to one Zara did last A/W - I'll definitely get alot of wear out of it!! The New Look neon spike necklace was a bargain reduced from £9.99 , I dont really like necklaces too dangly and long but this one is actually ok as the chain is pretty short so it still qualifies as a short statement necklace in my book! The gold hoops...well probably the ultimate piece of tack but I loveeee them!! Have you bought anything similar recently?

Guest Post: Bethanyxalice

 Guest Post by Bethany

1. First I used my Urban Decay Eye Primer, and Foxy from the Naked Basics pallet, to give me a good, clean base to work with.

2. Using a flat eye-shadow brush I applied my MUA eye-shadow in Shade 24 all over my lid, taking it slightly above my crease, to have something to blend the darker shades in with.

3. I like to create a winged look with my eye-shadow, which is why I took a thin eye-shadow brush (you could also use an eyeliner brush) to draw on where I would like my eye-shadow to end. The colour I used for this is MAC's Sketch.

4. This picture shows how I've blended in Sketch with Shade 24, right down to my inner corners. I do this using small circular motions with a blending brush, I also like to blend slightly around the eye and gently along the original line I created to soften it a little. Once I had done this I wasn't quite happy with the shade, and so used a little of Crave from the Naked Basics pallet to blend around the edges a tiny bit.

5. To finish off the look, I first added a small line of Crave on the outer corners of my eye, then blended that with Sketch to around the middle of my water line. After this I took Shade 24 and blended that almost right to my inner corners, completing the look by adding a little of Venus from the Naked Basics onto my inner corners. I always put concealer under my eyes for good measure at the end of every eye-shadow look!

Multi Leopard

 1. Apply 1 or 2 coats of a light beige nude nail polish.
2. Using a fairly dry brush dot a mink colour nail polish allover the nail.
3. Randomly add Orange patches over the nail.
4. Add your yellow nail polish, again randomly over the nail.
5. Dot on a few patches of turquoise nail polish.
6. Using a dark burgundy nail polish draw on an abstract leopard print over the top. Let dry & topcoat.
This nail art is inspired by another Topshop item, this top HERE which also comes with matching pants witwoo twosie!! I love how the print is so abstract but its still clear its leopard. This one is ridiculously easy, you couldnt go wrong! Takes about ten minutes and Im really happy with the results. What do you think of this ? Will you be trying it out?

Finally Gold Buckles.

Chunky Cut Out Gold Buckle Ankle Boots - New Look £29.99

Yikesss, how long have I been waiting to get my hands on some JC Coltrane dupes..? But not wanting to order from somewhere like eBay I prayed one of my reliable high street brands would come up with the goods. And New Look has done just that. I did buy the Office Ultimates in white a while back but as you probably remember when they turned up the buckles were actually silver instead of gold..which for me was a big disappointment, So they were returned...but being £90 anyway I cant say they were sorely missed! Now these have entered my life with huge gold buckles and an almost perfect dupe...I'm in love! If you want to get your footsies into some of these check out New Look online although I think they might have sold out by now as they're such a good price too as well as being very very good quality! Other than that I think they're only available from flagship stores so be quick! Ive only worn them out once but they're so comfy and they're gunna be amazing in A/W. My advice would be if you can get these...Do!!  River Island also are selling some pretty good lookalikes now too if you don't manage to get these!! What do you think of these boots,  Have you bought any JC dupes from other high street brands?

Popcorn

1. Apply two coats of white nail polish as a base.
2. Stipple on pale yellow to 1/3 of your nail, leaving spaces inbetween.
3. Add detail to your popcorn using a darker yellow & beige nail polish.
4. Using a red nail art pen draw a scalloped line along the edge of your popcorn.
5. Draw lines down to the end of the nail.
6. Using red nail polish fill in the alternate spaces. Let dry & Top coat.
Hola, Happy Wednesday I suppose haha!! These cutesie popcorn nails were inspired by some amazing pyjamas from Topshop. The pyjamas for one are wicked, soooo cool - and probably definitely would be tempted to wear them out. Onto the nails, they're easy to create if you have a spare 15 minutes on your hands! Not really too fiddly and the popcorn can spill over as much as you wish so preciseness isn't necessary. What do you think of this DiY? Will you be trying this out?
