Black, White & Grey

Small Chain Strap Quilted Bag - Topshop Gift
Diamante Bar Through Choker - Topshop £3.50
Grey Sunny Knit Jumper - French Connection £32.50
White Grid Oversized Shirt - New Look £19.99
Fang Double Buckle Sandals - Topshop £25
Fernando Flatform Sandals - Topshop £15

In all honesty, I have been very well behaved in regards to spending and shopping recently. Although above photographs would suggest otherwise. These are a few of the things I have accumulated over a couple of weeks. Im sooo very into Black and White at the moment, I think its the simplicity. Topshop had a mega sale on again so I snapped up some real bargains. Both pairs of sandals are super comfortable and when I look down at my feet and see them , they make me happy haha! I questioned whether I was silly for buying new sandals so far into summer, as it has rained pretty much everyday for the last 2/3 weeks...but who cares they're definitely perfect for summer to autumn transition, plus there are rumours of a few more warm sunny days on the way! I quite literally cannot wait to get back into wearing jumpers again, this Grey one from French Connection is soo soft and yummy, I actually bought the Lime Green version about a month ago and have stored it away safely in my winter stock drawer hehe!! Knowing how lovely it was, was what pushed me to purchase the Grey  too - you cant ever go wrong with a Grey slubby jumper. Are you ready for the onset of A/W? Have you been buying anything similar recently?

August Be Mine?

Mickey Jumper - £19.99 H&M // Huarache - £79.99 Nike // Decadent Earrings - £15 ASOS // White Jeggings - £20 DP // Black Duster Jacket - £29.99 New Look // Black Flap Bag - £110 DKNY

Im sooo into Black and White at the moment , both on their own and together. New white jeans are definitely on my list, and Dorothy Perkins Jeggings are such a comfortable fit - I'm considering getting those instead of normal jeans. Im not sure if there are many more sunny days to come , so I'm starting to look for Autumn/Winter investments! I loveee sweaters and jumpers so I'll definitely be purchasing lots of those!! I saw this DKNY  bag in Selfridges recently and its sooo nice and well made. Its nice that it doesn't have the logo stamped all over it, like so many of the other designs by DKNY - the price isn't really too horrendous either! Duster jackets are set to be massive during A/W and there are so many colours and patterns to choose from, although I think if I do get one , I'll be sticking with Black . My favourite. Is there anything similar on your August Wishlist?

Pétale Noir

Agent Provocateur Petale Noir EDP 30ml - £12 Boots

Pétale Noir, the exquisite new fragrance from Agent Provocateur, is a deep floral scent with a hint of oriental mystique. The launch of the new Pétale Noir fragrance personifies the modern and naturally confident woman, but be warned, she knows what she wants and knows how to get it.

The fragrance is made with the finest of oils featuring dramatic florals for the heart and precious woods, enhanced by musk crystals and sweet spicy accords that ignite the senses. A rich, vintage rose pink juice, perfectly complements the delicately floral, and beautifully shaped sensual bottle. Yet beware, things are not how they seem as the soft petals make way for dangerous prickly thorns. This contrast in mood is further emphasised by a striking black chain around the neck, symbolising the stark suggestive passion that binds us together."

The other day I was getting ready, I looked at my perfume shelf and thought ahh I need to try something new. I'm the sort of person who finds a perfume they love, and then keeps repurchasing it. Thats not to say I don't have a huge perfume selection, because I really do - but I felt like I hadn't tried something totally new for a while. Later on that day I was in Boots and saw this for £12, I picked up the sample bottle and sprayed it and thought it smelt lovely. Its definitely different from my usual perfume type - I'm very much a Jean Paul Gauliter, Marc Jacobs & Jimmy Choo kinda girl. This perfume smells very...dare I say it!? Sexy.. Which I guess makes sense considering it belongs to a brand who make some of the sexiest beautiful underwear around! Petale Noir really is such a girly , romantic scent - perfect for date night! I couldnt believe it was on offer for £12 too originally priced at £36, a bargain and a great excuse to try something new. Have you tried any Agent Provocateur Fragrances?

Bronze Block

Sleek MakeUP Bronze Block - £7.49

I have been a big fan of Sleek for a good few years now and I love it when they bring out new products. This is pretty new out so when I saw it I thought I had better try it. I always go for matte makeup as I sometimes suffer with oily skin,  but recently I've been wearing less and less - with the main focus on good brows, mascara'd lashes and a bit of contour. I think when you're going for barely there make up you can definitely afford a quick dusting of a light bronzer just to add a bit of dewiness and healthy glow. This bronze quad contains 4 different shades which you can use separately for highlight, contour and blush or you can swirl together for an all over glow. There are two shades available, Light & Dark - I chose light. I've been swirling them and applying lightly all over my face as I already have the Sleek Contour Kit that I use for contour - which if you haven't tried , you definitely need to. I just yesterday saw something very very similar to this quad on ASOS by Daniel Sandler which was £28 - so definitely a bit of a price difference there! Im really happy with this product so far, its subtle and I love the results it gives. Definitely one to try for those of you who like me, want to look bronzed but arent a big fan of the glitter and over the top shimmer!! Have you tried this or any other Sleek products?

Saturdays Offerings

Chunky Hologram Sandals - Primark
Gem Necklace - Topshop
Floral Kimono - New Look

First let me start this post with some advice. Don't EVER go to Lakeside on a Saturday - I may have scored myself some beautiful bits, but the hell that I incurred was just ridiculous. So yeah anyway, a few weeks ago I was at a loose end on a Saturday so I went for a little afternoon shop. I'd wanted some chunky sandals like these and I saw the Holographic ones on Instagram so I had my mind set on finding them! I went into Primark, they had one pair left in the entire shop and they were my size which was amazing! They had a few grubby marks on the heel and when I asked if they had anymore the manager said they didn't but she would take a couple of pounds off - so they only cost me £12. And the heels cleaned up with a baby wipe - wooo! The necklace and kimono were really just unnecessary impulse buys, but kimomos are so easy to just throw on and look pretty nice and I wore the necklace with a simple black smart tee for my boys mums birthday meal and got lots of compliments, and it only cost me £5.50. I recently saw a preview of Primarks AW14 collection and I've got to say I'm impressed, There are definitey a few things I'm gunna try and get my hands on! I think a lot of it will be in the shops from August onwards. Im already looking forward to purchasing some A/W bits.

Hot Right Now

L-R; Peach Sherbert, Bright Pink, Blooboo, Banana Split & Northern Lights.

Sunshine and summertime vibes means pretty nail polish shades are a must. Here are my favourite 5 Hot Right Now nail polishes. Meaning essentially my top 5, most worn nail polishes of the moment.

Models Own - Peach Sherbert
A pastel peach/coral shade, perfect for Spring & Summer. I really like this because its a nice alternative to the classic pink, blue and yellow pastel nail polishes. I've been buying this shade for maybe 3 or 4 years now and its a classic and favourite in my collection.

Barry M - Bright Pink
This is the only non- Models Own shade from my favourites of the moment. This has actually always been a favourite of mine. I have purchased this repeatedly over the years. As the name states its a bright pink, very wearable all year round really and applys nicely. This is a great colour and polish for ombre and tie-dye nails.

Models Own - Blooboo
This shade I tried desperately to get my hands on for ages, I even had my friends
& family checking all Boots stores and Bottle Shops for me too. In the end I got it online during the Models Own 50% sale earlier this year. I think maybe its a web exclusive? You cant tell from the pictures but its not just a pale blue. It has tiny tiny glittery metallic flecks running through it, which shimmer in certain light! Very Mermaidy - I love this one!

Models Own - Banana Split
I think during the summer months a good yellow nail polish is a must, for all over colour or just for nail art details. I tend to stray away from bright yellows after a staining incident a few years ago which really put me off, but luckily this one doesn't have that problem. I love this colour and I've repurchased it a few times now.

Models Own - Nothern Lights
I remember when the Wonderland collection came out , I was in Boots trying to decide which 3 I was going to buy. This was one of the 3 and ever since its had a firm place in my favourites. Its not like a regular glitter nail polish because its so concentrated. Its got a holographic feels to it , which I think is probably why its soo nice!

Have you tried any of these nail polishes? Which are your favourite brands and shades of nail polishes at the moment?

Gogo Philip Big Leaf Earrings - £20

Julys wishlist is a small one, but a bit pricey!! This Moschino bag is absolutely beautiful!!! I'd LOVE one...maybe something to save for, for a big treat haha!! The Topshop Faux Fur shoes are sooo cute, They're £58 But I think theres definitely some inspo for myself to come up with a cheaper alternative, as this shape shoe is everywhere right now! Maybe a little DIY project I think!? The Chain is the necklace version of the bracelet I got for my Birthday last year and is along with the earrings, one of many in a big long list of things I want from Gogo. Little Black Bag

The Cerys Shoulder Bag in Black -DSUK C/o LYDC

I was recently sent this Cerys Shoulder Bag in Black to review by LYDC. Its Simple Faux Leather bag with a Faux suede tassel , adjustable shoulder strap and gold hardware. Its the perfect simple black bag that will go with almost any outfit. I actually took it out with me Saturday for a night out in Shorditch. The main compartent is fully lined and has a zip pocket  which was perfect for keeping my train ticket safe and easily accessable. I dont usually go for anything too plain as far as bags are concerned but I really do like this one, definitely a welcome member to my bag collection. LYDC offer a big range of reasonably prices bags, clothes and accessories- so definitely check out their website. TOWIES Sam Faiers was recently spotted with their Harlsden Pink Holographic Mini SatchelThis bag is priced at £27 which I think is a great price for a bag of this quality. I'll definitely be looking there for bags in the future.

Cheap Thrills & Frills

 Knicks - £2 Each
Bracelet - £3.50
Earrings - £5.50
JuJu Chelsea Boots - £12
Socks - £2 Each

Some of my favourite times are when Topshop have their sales. This time round I haven't gone too mad as it hasn't been payday yet, but I have snapped up a few cute things - some of which I'd been wanting for a while. I love Topshop character knickers, mainly just for wearing on days when I'm chilling indoors and at night, when goodlooking undies are not essential. I think the Angelica ones are amazingggg! The bracelet and earrings are both bits I'd wanted for agesss, so to get them at a snip of the original price made me very happy. The boots are actually JUJU , which I got for £12 ( They're still £25 on ASOS?!) they'll be a great back up shoe for if it rains on any festival days - and they're much prettier than normal wellies. Lastly the socks are pretty self explanatory arent they?! - and you know how I love a pretty sock..£2 a pair , lovely jubbly. Have you bought anything from the Topshop Sale?

Jeffery Campbell Skully White - £145
River Island Blue Geometric Longline Kimono - £50
Love Rocks XL Chain - £25
Topshop Lois 90's Sunglasses - £16
Klear Klutch Parental Advisory Clutch - £60

These are the absolutely beautiful items on my June wishlist. I would love all these things, to have on their own or to wear as an outfit. This kimono reminds of the television test screens...If anyone has the faintest idea what I'm on about? This a very Summer ready outfit..maybe with white skinny jeans and a simple white vest for a summer evening in the sun :) Klear Klutches are pretty new on the scene, they have some amazing designs..I think this one is definitely my favourite!! Although this is a pretty dressy outfit I've put together, Im definitely considering this Kimono for a festival coming up and I think it could cope with a dressed down more casual vibe. Not Nike - Not Right.

 Nike Internationalists - £67

I've always been a massive fan of Nike, from Dunks,110's, Airforce 1's & Airmax 90's since I was about 10 to present day. I think I prefer Nike above all over trainer brands as there's such a diverse range of styles and colours...and classics that will be in forever. When I was in secondary school I had loads of Airforce 1's and last year I bought a new pair of all whites... They will literally never be out of fashion in my eyes. Anyway I was after the grey patterned RosheRuns but they were sold everywhere in my size.. then I came across these and thought they looked pretty  beautiful.. I ordered them and was secretely hoping when they turned up that I wouldnt like them. But I do - I love them they' re soo pretty and they're sooo comfortable. Im even glad the RosheRuns were all out of stock now as I think these are even better.. I think these are going to be very wearable, they go with anything and everything. Ive seen some that are allover pink too which are realllyyyy nice, but despite loving pink I dont wear alot of it.. What do you think? Whats your favourite trainer brand?

Olive & Coconut

Barry M Gelly Shine Olive & Coconut - £3.99 Each*

In my recent haul post I showed you these two new polishes I'd bought from the Gelly Shine range by Barry M. Its no secret that I'm pretty in love with the whole range and I definitely approve of the new colours that have been released this season. In all honesty, I'm not sure how well Olive suits my skintone but it is a lovely khaki/olive tone that will be useful to me for camo inspired nails. Coconut on the other hand I adore, Since forever I've been looking for an off white/cream nail polish - that is of a good quality i.e no streaks!! This is it! For a pretty much all whitebased nail polish, it applys perfectly. I love white nails but sometimes, I think bright white can just look a bit harsh...so this is a great one for nails that are essentially white, but not clinical. There are alot of deals on at the moment, I think Superdrug have 3for2 and Boots have 2 for £7, so definitely a good  time to buy them. Have you tried any of the newly released colours from the Barry M Gelly Shine collection?
